Can you remember what the advertising stated when you purchased the car. I would hazard a guess that it showed live services would be active subject to availability in each country not depending when the car was made. Don't let this go, demand Fiat rectify the situation either by replacing the unit or compensation, if they don't play ball explain you will take your story to monthly car publications help desks!
Today the dealer tried set up Uconnect Live Service.
Again not cured, the Uconnect Live Service is still not available on my 500X.
He has to contact the Fiat main office next week.
