Hello:

I am considering the purchase of a 500X but I have a few concerns. First of all, I have heard nothing but BAD comments about the BEATS audio system that is available. But, I know nothing about the alternative system - anyone know anything about it?

I would also like to know what audio file formats (MP3, FLAC, ALAC) either of the systems will play?

Well, Fiat answered the first part of my question. Their systems support the following file systems:

.wma (5 – 320 kbps) mono and stereo;</font>[*]
.aac (8 – 96 kHz) mono and stereo;</font>[*]
.m4a (8 – 96 kHz) mono and stereo;</font>[*]
.m4b (8 – 96 kHz) mono and stereo;</font>[*]
.mp4 (8 – 96 kHz) mono and stereo.</font>[/list]
</font>Their systems also support playlists in .m3u and .wpl.

I am still interested in some feedback about the BEATS system.
