Hi, can anyone help? My 2011 Fiat 500 has a strange lighting problem. After driving for about 30 minutes the dashboard generic warning light comes on and my rear lights go out. If I park up, switch off the engine, then restart ... the lights work again. Anyone had a similar problem or any ideas what the problem could be?

The Fiat 500 has a strange lighting problem that has occurred since its release in 2011. There are a few possible solutions to this problem, but none of them are guaranteed to work.

One solution is to replace the headlight bulb with a new one. This may work if the old bulb is simply burned out. However, if the problem is with the electrical connection, then replacing the bulb will not solve the issue.

Another solution is to clean and secure all of the connections in the headlight assembly. Over time, these connections can become loose due to vibrations from driving. By tightening or re-soldering these connections, you may be able to fix the problem.
