Hello, I have been driving Abarth 500s for several years. I was hoping that they would build an Abarth 500x, seemingly not. I am now looking at Fiat 500x to purchase. Can they be tuned or modified much? Thanks.

There have been some spy shots which suggest one is on the cards: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/abarth/92456/fiats-200bhp-abarth-500x-hot-crossover-nearly-ready , it was a while a go though and I don't recall any news since.

I'm afraid I've not read much about tuning the current engines.

I've never heard of anyone tuning them here. Maybe look at the same engine but in the 500 model instead? Bound to be tuning available on those that could be fitted to the 500x.
