Fiat says that my Fiat 500X with Uconnect Nav 5" from June 2015 is not upgradable for Uconnect Live services ?


It's annoying me very much. Does anybody have the same issue.

Seems someone is wrong, either Fiat or Uconnect. Have you phone Fiat Uconnect technical staff?

I contacted Fiat Customer Care Service several times per telephone and e-mail.
They confirmed my Fiat 500X produced before september 2015 are not upgradable for Uconnect Live services.

Can you remember what the advertising stated when you purchased the car. I would hazard a guess that it showed live services would be active subject to availability in each country not depending when the car was made. Don't let this go, demand Fiat rectify the situation either by replacing the unit or compensation, if they don't play ball explain you will take your story to monthly car publications help desks!

A bit naff that a brand new car wouldn't come with this ready to activate and they changed it after a couple of months of production.

Today the dealer tried set up Uconnect Live Service.
Again not cured, the Uconnect Live Service is still not available on my 500X.
He has to contact the Fiat main office next week.

try to download uconnect app on your phone and connect with your uconnect in car wifi(data)must be on and probably you can upload on that way or try to search fiat500usa.com ( http://www.fiat500usa.com/search/label/Fiat 500X) maybe you can upload with this way,
